🤔 How Does This Work?
Our Time Calculator handles three types of time calculations:
- Between two times: converts both times to minutes since midnight, finds the difference, and converts back to hours and minutes. Handles overnight shifts by adding 1440 minutes (24 hours).
- Add time: converts start time to minutes, adds the specified hours and minutes, then wraps around 24 hours if needed.
- Subtract time: converts start time to minutes, subtracts the specified hours and minutes, then handles negative results by wrapping around 24 hours.
Results are shown in both hours:minutes format and decimal hours (useful for payroll and billing).
